Help! Which sewer camera is best for me?

Are you looking for a sewer camera to inspect pipes, tubes or other channels, but don't know where to start? Think about the pipe size you are inspecting, what kind of pipes they are and what kind of inspections you often carry out.

1. Which pipe diameter

First ask yourself in which pipe sizes you mainly carry out your inspections. Are you often in the small pipe (Ø 32-90 mm), in medium-sized pipes (Ø 75-200 mm) or larger pipes (> Ø 200 mm). This is important because the inspection cameras are designed for this purpose. Each camera has its speciality in a certain pipe size.

The MiniFlex, for example, is the sewer camera for small pipes (Ø 32-100mm). In addition, the Inspector 48 is the solution for larger pipes (Ø75-400mm).

2. What kind of pipes?

An important factor in choosing the right inspection camera is the kind of pipe you often have to look into. Is it a pipe with many right-angled bends or a straight but long pipe?

In straight pipes larger than Ø110mm our Inspector ZRK70 is the ultimate solution (is multifunctional inspection sewer camera; endlessly rotatable and swerveable). If you make a lot of bends in small pipes, we recommend our MiniFlex. MiniFlex is unique in its kind, because it makes several right-angled bends in the small pipe. You can get deeper into a pipe than any other inspection camera.

3. What kind of inspections do you usually carry out?

The last question that is important is: "What kind of inspections do you often perform?" Do you mainly perform cursory and somewhat simpler inspections where you do several in a day, in quick succession? Here it is essential that you can start up and clean up quickly. Or just the opposite. Larger inspection jobs, where extensive reports are required, with a monitor that allows you to see everything clearly.

The Inspector 36 and 48 are both available in Junior and Modular versions. The Junior is mainly for reconnaissance work and the Modular version for more extensive inspections.
